It’s been a while, so I thought I’d jump on and give you a brief rundown on how things are going and what’s new in and around Williams Trust.Â
We are now running with 3 Trustees – myself, Mick and Bill Griffiths, who was appointed in July 2022. Bill is a friend we’ve known for many years and has proved himself again and again to be an excellent sounding board, as well as a data whizz! Once appointed, he immediately got to work on our grants spreadsheet, ensuring we have a thorough record of grants made, where referrals are coming from etc. This provides us with a great source of data and ensures we can plug any gaps in our application process and referral sources. We are constantly reviewing how people hear about us and trying to ensure that our focus is, as it always has been, applications for individual grants particularly in the Hampshire area.Â
We are pleased to report that from Charity registration to April 2023, Williams Trust gave out £38, 615 worth of grants. Grants are made for a huge variety of reasons – please do have a look at our recently updated ‘Case Studies and Testimonials’ page for just a few examples.Â
