Williams Trust has had a steady stream of referrals already! So we thought it was about time to give you an update of some of the grants the Trustees have approved so far.
We have agreed to pay for 1-1 mentoring support for a Year 11 pupil who is currently out of school and is becoming very socially isolated. We have provided funding to pay for a residential trip for a pupil whose family are dealing with terminal illness, and we have also purchased a High Definition TV for a visually impaired older person who is socially isolated.
We continue to receive and consider applications from a wide range of sources, and are feeling very happy that our grants are starting to be put to good use. If you think that we can help you or someone you know, please get in touch!
